My recollection is that the brochures became more simplistic over time. And the newer brochures had deleted all the trails that were generally unused during the Hahn Mt. era. So I'm certain that the undated brochure below is older than those shown above. Except for the new Rooster Run, the brochure below is more indicative of how the ski area appeared back in the Big Valley days. The brochure is perhaps from the mid to late '70s. Note that the brochure pictures appear to be from Big Valley, predating the later Hahn Mt. improvements.

Shown below is an undated Big Valley Brochure. Note that none of the slopes and trails are named. Note that trail 8 (future Appalachian) is listed as "Most Difficult" while trail 7 (future Foxy Lane) is listed as "More Difficult". These designations were reversed during the Hahn era. I believe Hahn regraded the top of Appalachian such that it became the easiest way down from the top. Foxy Lane lacked lights and snow making and was essentially abandoned during the Hahn era. Hahn assigned the name "Big Valley" to trail 3 which was the ski area's most challenging way down from the top. The appendage labeled trail 2 was not maintained and grew in.

Shown below is another copy of the same brochure above, but without a missing chunk. Note that most of the prices have been reduced or crossed out. Perhaps it was an end of season price reduction.
