Rules & Strategies
WHO dunnit was the most modern, complex game I've had my hands on. Giving it my usual OCD rules treatment seemed overwhelming. And I never I got around to it. But, there are already two rules sheets on IPDB. Plus the game manual has 14 pages of rules including character background stories and playfield diagrams.
I will say this about interrogating suspects: The substance of what the suspect says seems irrelevant. But, as pointed out on the instruction card, the suspect will always discuss the killer unless they are the killer. So instead of having a one in four chance of guessing the killer, if you pay attention to the names, you can narrow it down to one in three or one in two. But you need to know the relationships and aliases of the suspects. For example, when Trixy mentions "father", she's talking about Tex (Bruno). Or when someone mentions Walter or Tex, they're talking about Butler or Bruno, respectively. I don't get how any normal person would be expected to figure that out unless they had a game manual and memorized the background stories of the suspects.
